Rain and wind

There might be more windless days in winter, but when the weather does get wet and wild it's hard to beat being inside by the fire.

We had a lot of rain yesterday. This photo was taken the day before, from the Wairau Diversion mouth, looking back towards The Fridge (on the left). The rain is just starting to come on.
